OURS FOR GIVING
Introducing the Hardin Construction Associates Charitable Foundation— a DYNAMIC new opportunity for Hardin associates to help BRIGHTEN smiles, LEND comfort, PRESERVE beauty, PROMOTE understanding and offer HOPE in the communities where we live, work and play.

The Foundation is truly an extraordinary way for us to transform lives and build thriving communities for generations to come. It’s CONVENIENT. It’s PERSONALIZED. It is designed to help us make the most of our philanthropic giving.

OUR MISSION
EMPOWERING Hardin associates to define for themselves how best to express their PASSION for charitable giving, the Foundation is an ASSOCIATES-RUN organization through which the people of Hardin demonstrate the company’s COMMITMENT to enhancing the quality of life in the communities we serve.

OUR CHOICE
The Foundation is a powerful way for Hardin associates to concentrate our charitable giving while complementing our current involvement with community organizations and worthy causes. It will greatly expand our opportunities to make a difference. The choice is ours.

OUR CAUSES
Because Hardin associates are attracted to a wide range of charitable causes, the Foundation is geared to potentially support a wide range of charitable organizations. Associates may invite qualified charitable groups to apply for Foundation grants. Our doing so introduces those organizations to a new source of potential funding—and the Foundation to new avenues for making a lasting impact.

OUR COMMUNITIES
An important proviso of the Foundation is that associates’ contributions flow back into the communities where we live and work, with the understanding that the Foundation can, when appropriate, support international disaster relief.

HOW THE FOUNDATION WORKS
Associates have the choice of making a one-time annual contribution to the Foundation or pledging ongoing payroll deductions throughout the year.

Associates have the opportunity to encourage local charities with which they are familiar to apply for Foundation grants.

Independently operated by Hardin associates, the Foundation is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors made up of Hardin associates representing support, field and operations staff from Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta.

The Foundation Board of Directors will meet quarterly to decide on grant awards. The Foundation may make awards to 1) eligible organizations invited by associates to apply for funding; 2) eligible organizations identified by the Board as worthy of Foundation support; and 3) eligible Hardin associates and their families who are facing hardships.

The Board of Directors will determine the timing and amount of Foundation grants.
