John P. O'Hara
A senior officer at Hardin Construction, John O’Hara is a member of the company’s executive management committee and chairs its strategic planning committee as well. Prior to his current assignment Mr. O’Hara was the senior officer and leader of the Retail business unit and also led Hardin’s Corporate Services unit. During this period he developed corporate relationships with such Fortune 500 companies as NORTEL, Capital One, Nordstrom, and CarMax, among others. Mr. O’Hara sits on the board of directors of CoreNet Global, Atlanta Chapter. CoreNet Global is a trade association for corporate real estate. In addition, he is active in charitable organizations and fundraising for the Center for Family Resources and previously was a campaign chairperson for the Atlanta United Way. He was appointed by the Cobb County Board of Education as a committee member and, ultimately, as chairman of the Facilities and Technology Committee responsible for evaluating the county’s need for a SPLOST program. Mr. O’Hara joined Hardin in 1989 and is a registered architect and graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Architecture. |
