Lisa Fanto oversees critical support functions at Atlanta-based Hardin Construction Company, LLC, including human resources, employee development, corporate communications, and marketing and creative services.

In her position, Ms. Fanto develops policies and initiatives that make Hardin a leader in attracting, motivating, developing and rewarding top-notch industry professionals—a Hardin hallmark. She leads the company’s continuous efforts to link and align the Hardin brand internally and externally, as well as Hardin’s commitment to practicing the brand’s promise and values throughout the employment cycle of each Hardin associate.

Bringing broad experience and distinctive leadership and vision, Ms. Fanto joined Hardin in 2001. Her more than 25 years in human resources and corporate administration also include stints with companies such as Lockheed, Sprint and Solvay Pharmaceuticals.

At Hardin, Ms. Fanto’s focus on centralizing and streamlining corporation communication functions has helped the company and its diverse business units and geographically dispersed offices and jobsites deliver corporate messages with clarity and consistency. Her efforts have also made company information more easily accessible to Hardin’s associates, partners and stakeholders.

Ms. Fanto was elected in 2010 to the Berry College, Board of Trustees, having previously served for several years on the Berry College Board of Visitors. She also served on the Board of Governors for the Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. She is a past president and executive committee member of the Human Resource Leadership Forum. Ms. Fanto is also a member of the Metro Atlanta Culture Coalition Arts Leadership Class of 2006-07, the Society of Human Resource Management (Atlanta chapter), and the Public Relations Society of America (Atlanta chapter). She has served as a mentor for the Georgia 100/Pathbuilders Leadership Program and the Governor’s Mentor Protégé Program.

Ms. Fanto graduated cum laude from Berry College in Mt. Berry, Georgia, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and journalism.
