Industry veteran Steve Rivers is Hardin Construction Company’s Executive Vice President and strategically leads the business development efforts nationally for the company.

Formerly a senior vice president and general manager of Hardin’s Orlando, Florida office, Rivers is located in Atlanta, where he grew up and earned a bachelor’s degree in building construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been with Hardin since 1988.

Rivers’ civic and industry involvements have included the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Central Florida and the Orlando Economic Development Council. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Steve brings incredible breadth and depth of experience to his leadership role. In a variety of construction arenas—from retail and hospitality to office and mixed-use developments—and in leading Hardin’s business growth efforts in central Florida and, more recently, the Texas market, Steve has been a shining star.
